(MENAFN - Arab Times) A Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint against her brother who allegedly stole a vehicle she rented from a car rental office in Ardiya Industrial Area. The complainant told police she used the car when she went to Jahra Hospital, along with her husband

However, she was surprised after parking the car in front of the hospital as her brother came and took the vehicle. The woman immediately called the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior to report the incident. She provided the investigators with a detailed description of her brother and the vehicle to ease the search procedures. According to the woman, she had a dispute with her brother and he might have stolen the car in retaliation. She called him after the incident but he allegedly told her to go to any police station and bang her head on the wall. A case was registered and police are now searching for the woman's brother to verify her claim.

Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen sustained various degrees of burns and damaged a cell in Taima police station when he started a fire while in custody. Security sources said the citizen was arrested on suspicion of shooting at a patrol vehicle, and officers at the police station where he was held were surprised when suddenly they saw smoke billowing from the suspect's cell. The Operations Room was notified about the incident and the suspect was referred to Jahra Hospital for treatment. A case was registered
