(MENAFN- Arab Times) Officers at the Kuwait International Airport recently arrested 15 Iraqi passengers and 'deported' them to Basra, reports Al- Watan Arabic daily.
This happened when a Turkish flight diverted and made an unscheduled landing at the Kuwait International Airport due to bad weather in Basra.
When the captain of the plane said he was going back to Istanbul, the 15 passengers got angry, assaulted the cabin crew and opened the door of the cockpit.
Security officers at the airport forced the 15 passengers to disembark, took them to a hotel, and arranged their travel to Basra aboard another aircraft
