(MENAFN) Spending on health care in the GCC countries is expected to boost by CAGR of 11.4 percent between 2010-2015, according to Arab News.

Demographic and macroeconomic factors are the main reasons behind the improving growth in the region's health care sector.

Also, the region's fast growing population, rising income levels, and increasing prevalence of lifestyle diseases all work on boosting the sector's growth.

GCC governments are trying to invest in health care provision and help the industry to grow to international standards.
