(MENAFN Press) Vida Downtown Dubai, the flagship property under Emaar Hospitality Group's newly-launched brand Vida Hotels and Resorts, has redefined its customer service experience with the launch of OPERA9 Mobile, a platform that enhances front and back of house operations, increasing overall efficiency

Vida Downtown Dubai is one of the first hotels in the Middle East to implement the state-of-the-art system. With the software, the hotel can further improve its speed of service; increase staff efficiencies; simplify complex requests surrounding reservations; and manage operations seamlessly

Launched by the leading provider of hospitality solutions spanning software, hardware, enterprise systems integration, consulting, and support, the system eases workflow, and strengthens functionality by extending support to wireless devices such as smartphones and tablets

Stefan Viard, General Manager, Vida Downtown Dubai, said: "An inspiring brand that meets the aspirations of the new generation of visitors and entrepreneurs, Vida Downtown Dubai places the highest emphasis on providing seamless service to our guests, and this calls for the most advanced technologies driving all aspects of our operation.

"From the moment that our guests make their reservation to the checkout process, we ensure that with enhanced connectivity and state-of-the-art technology, their experience is nothing short of memorable. The implementation of the OPERA9 Mobile system underlines our goal to provide visitors with an 'Alive and Inspired' hospitality experience.

The hotel will be able to enhance overall efficiency in check-in and check-out processes; profile and reservation management; signature capture, credit card swipe and authorisation; assignment and pre-allocation of rooms; key encoding; search functions; scheduled check-outs and early departures

The software will also assist in room management and maintenance by defining room statuses in three categories “ inspected and pickup; manage out-of-office statuses; maintenance tasks; and attendant management and task sheets

Vida Downtown Dubai is distinguished by neutral colours creating a chic ambience, good food inspired by Middle Eastern and international cuisine, and the convenience of the latest technology, including check-in via iPad and uninterrupted Wi-Fi service.

Setting new standards in 'green hospitality,' Vida Downtown Dubai is envisaged as a paper-less hotel, with all room service orders being taken on HITV, highlighting the hotel's introduction of the latest technologies that suit the suave preferences of the guests.
