Vietnam to ban FDI companies from exporting oil


(MENAFN) The Vietnamese Ministry of Trade and Industry has issued a circular restricting rights of foreign-invested companies in the country on export and import of certain commodities, including crude oil, Xinhua reported



Companies with foreign direct investment (FDI) have been banned from exporting crude oil and other kinds of oil obtained from bituminous minerals



The circular, which is set to go into operation in February 5, 2014, will also ban FDI companies from distributing rice, sugarcane, medicine, explosives and jewelry
