Kuwait - Drugs seized


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Four Arab expatriates were arrested for trafficking in drugs and antinarcotics men recovered 17,000 illicit pills they had smuggled into the country, reports Al-Seyassah daily.



Apparently, a team of officers was formed to pursue the suspects when the Drug Control General Department received a tipoff about their activitie



The suspects were place under surveillance for a time to confirm the validity of informatio



After that, an undercover agent sealed a deal with the first two suspects to purchase 1,000 narcotic pills, and they were arrested after the transactio



During investigation, they admitted ownership of the contraband and named two other accomplices from the same nationalit



The officers raided the apartment of the third and fourth suspects and found additional 7,000 pill



All four men were referred to Drug Prosecutio

Investigations conducted by securitymen showed the men were staying in a 5-star hotel in downtown Kuwait Cit



According to security sources the suspects paid the hotel bills using the same forged credit card



The men have been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department for further interrogation
