KSA to attend GCC health conference in Kuwait

(MENAFN - Arab News) The Ministry of Health will attend the 76th session of the Council of GCC Ministers of Health scheduled to kick off in Kuwait on Tuesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported



Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah will lead the Saudi delegation at the two-day meeting, SPA said



Khalid Al-Marghalani, spokesman from the ministry, said the conference will focus on a number of health issues, including non-communicable diseases, the adoption of certified GCC medical centers, smoking, polio, coronavirus and malaria



The meeting will also focus on adopting a unified system for purchasing pharmaceutical products including hospital furnishings, artificial kidneys supplies, oral and dental care equipment, he said



Central drug registration and pricing, financial and administrative affairs, budget of the executive bureau and the expansion of the executive bureau building will also be on the agenda, he said
