Iran increases oil swap with Afghanistan, Pakistan


(MENAFN) The Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) said that the country has increased fuel exchange with Afghanistan and Pakistan, Tehran Times reported. He said that a regulatory framework will be drawn for full control over fuel swap with aims to reduce fuel smuggling. In 2013, the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) said that there are plans to up the swap volume for oil products by up to 30 percent in the current Iranian year ending March 20, 2014.
