China's economy to maintain stable growth this year


(MENAFN) China's economy is to maintain stable growth this year, regardless of a low purchasing Manager's Index (PMI), Xinhua reported. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) said that the PMI last month hi a four-month-low when it came at 51, down from 51.4 in the month before it. Chief economist for China at HSBC said: "The recovering momentum since August 2013 is continuing into 2014, in our view," adding that PMI, despite falling, remained above 50 for 15 months in a row, meaning that industrial situation is stable.
