Boeing will produce 777X jet at Seattle hub


(MENAFN) Boeing is to have a decade of labor peace following its largest union voting to accept contract concessions provided that the plane manufacturer produces the new 777X jet in its Seattle hub, The Peninsula reported. Union leader vowed to make Boeing keep a pledge to keep of retaining the thousands of jobs accompanying the production of the 777X and a new facility to make the jet's composite wings. The administrative assistant of the Machinists' District Lodge 751 said: "We've got 78 years of striking and fighting and walking picket lines to get where we are today."
