5.3m cars recalled in China in 2013


(MENAFN) China's quality inspection authority said that a record number of cars were recalled last year, Xinhua reported. The authority said that 5.3 million defected vehicles were recalled in 2013, a figure that represents one third of the total recalled vehicles in ten years. The most recalled brands were Mitsubishi, BMW, Hyundai, Jeep and Shaolin, and the most recalled brands by numbers were Shanghai GM, Shanghai Volkswagen, Faw-Volkswagen, Dongfeng Honda and Changan Suzuki.
