Kuwait- MoC eyes installation of surveillance cameras


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Ministry of Communications is planning to install surveillance cameras to check employees' commitment to the fingerprint attendance system. Reliable sources said the concerned authorities in the ministry are putting the final touches to install camera at the entrances and exits of the ministry's departments in all six governorates. They explained the new surveillance camera aims to protect the fingerprint system from exploitation and damage, and to monitor the employees' commitment to the decisions of the Council of Ministers and Civil Service Commission, indicating the cameras will help check employee attendance and absenteeism in all ministries and governmental authorities. Sources clarified that the State Audit Bureau report and other surveillance systems indicate that many employees do not comply with attendance and closing timings.
