(MENAFN- Arab Times) An individual was arrested for threatening to stab a policeman with a dagger, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source said patrolmen affiliated to the Farwaniya security department chased the motorist when he crossed the red signal with a car bearing a Saudi number plate.
The source noted the patrolmen were surprised when three men alighted from the car and one of them threatened to stab the officer with a dagger, while the others managed to run off.
He was later restrained and referred to Firdous police station and charged for attempted murder and humiliating a policeman on duty.
