(MENAFN) Economy of Sri Lanka is forecasted to see an improvement by 7.8 percent in 2014, according to Arab News.
Inflation is also expected to reach 4-6 percent by the end of the current year, with a lower interest rate regime.
The central bank also announced plans to merge banks and non-banking financial firms to strengthen financial stability.
