Sohar Refinery to temporarily shutdown
(MENAFN) Sohar Refinery is set to undergo a temporary shutdown due to an emergency situation in the Sour Water Stripper, Times of Oman reported.
The maintenance is expected to be completed in a period of five to 10 days. The works, shut downs and restarts of different units will be carried out.
The Sour Water Stripper Unit is responsible of the treatment and removal of ammonia and sulphur components.
