Australia home prices up 9.8 percent in 2013


(MENAFN) Latest figures released by RP Data show the housing market in Australia maintained its strong growth trend last month, marking 2013 as the biggest calendar year rise in four years, Xinhua reported. The average capital city home values went up by 9.8 percent last year, which the highest increase since 2009 when home values increased 13.7 percent. Sydney had the most capital gains with a 14.5 percent increase over the 2013 and a 4.1 percent increase over the past three months.
