South Korea online shopping hits new USD52b mark


(MENAFN) Online shopping in South Korea increased significantly last year to USD52.1 billion, surpassing the previous record of USD47.3 billion, Qatar News Agency reported. Online shopping transactions in the country came at USD52.1 in 2013, registering a 14.6 percent increase from USD45.4 billion in 2012. Online transactions in the country have increased from USD25.5 billion in 2007 to USD32.1 billion in 2010.
