Revenues of zakat reach USD6.66 b in Saudi


(MENAFN) Revenues of the Saudi Department of Zakat and Income Tax reached more than USD6.66 billion, or a 6 percent rise from 2012 where revenues reached USD3.41 billion, according Arab News. Zakat returns are planned to be paid to people who deserve it by the social security department, stated the Department of Zakat. Tax returns from foreign companies, except companies work in oil sector reached USD3.278 billion.
