Pakistani Forces Kill Two Taliban Commanders during Raid in Karachi


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Two commanders of banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in an encounter when Rangers conducted a raid in Manghopir area of Karachi, Pakistani (Geo) News reported Thursday. According to Rangers spokesman, Rangers personnel conducted a raid in Kanwari Colony area of Manghopir where they faced resistance During an intense crossfire with the culprits, two commanders belonging to TTP were killed Meanwhile, a policeman was killed and three others were injured when a remote-controlled bomb blast occurred on Tank-Wana Road, north west of Pakistan, that targeted a police mobile on Thursday According to the details, terrorists had planted a remote controlled bomb near a bridge at Tank-Wana Road that went off with a blast when the police mobile crossed the road As a result of blast, one cop killed and three others sustained injuries who were immediately shifted to Headquarter Hospital, Tank Security forces cordoned off the blast site and started investigation
