Kuwait's budget surplus falls 15 percent in 6 months


(MENAFN) Kuwait's budget surplus decreased 15 percent in the first half of the current fiscal year, according to Arab News. Kuwait registered a drop in preliminary budget of about USD37.8 billion during the six months to the end of September compared to USD44.5 billion during the same period in 2012. The sharp drop in surplus resulted from the significant 50-percent rise in spending.
