UAE- Khalifa Fund distributes Dh900m to 600 SMEs


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Abdullah Saeed Al Darmaki, CEO of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development revealed the statistic during the opening of the Reyada Forum in the presence of Shaikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman and the Chairman of the Executive Council of Ajman. He said that the Khalifa Fund during the past few years was able to make changes in the common thinking among entrepreneurs, who are interested in establishing their own businesses. The fund financed about 600 projects with a total fund of Dh900 million. The fund also organised about 394 training courses that 4,800 Emiratis from different parts of the country benefited from. The fund's capital has been increased to Dh2 billion to expand in different areas of country. The fund opened three branches in Ajman, Fujairah and RAK to cover all the needs of entrepreneurs in the country and to give them the opportunity to benefit from the Fund's services, explained Al Darmaki.
