Britain's Bombardier loses USD583 m deal


(MENAFN) Bombardier, the transport engineering group, has lost a contract of modernizing vital parts of the London Underground worth USD583.6 million, according to the Telegraph. Bombardier's system was incompatible with the Underground's creaking infrastructure. The company is predicted to receive between USD 131.9 million and USD140.14 million for its work to date on installing a control centre and conducting surveying work.
