(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) South Korea's economy will face a "watershed" period in 2014 that will determine whether it will be able to join the ranks of advanced countries, the finance minister said Tuesday.
Hyun Oh-seok said that the government will focus on boosting the private sector and strengthening the country's overall economic fundamentals next year, reported the South Korean news agency Yonhap.
He also said that for a better future, the government will actively endeavor to resolve any structural problems confronting the Korean economy.
