Iran allows ministries to issue USD5 b worth of bonds


(MENAFN) Iran's Oil Ministry will be able to issue USD1.67 billion bonds after the government's approval, according to Iran Daily. The government had authorized the ministries of oil, energy, roads and urban development, communications and information technology, defense and armed forces logistics, industries, mines and trade, and agricultural jihad to issue as much as USD5 billion bonds. The Ministry of Energy will issue the biggest portion of the bonds at USD1.34 billion, followed by USD833 million for Roads and Urban Development Ministry, while Communications and Information Technology Ministry will receive USD334 million.
