Iran's exports of flowers stood at USD45 m


(MENAFN) The Iranian Union of Flowers and Plants reported that exports of flowers reached USD45 million in Iran in the previous nine months, according to Iran Daily. Figures showed that exports rose by 15 percent compared to the same period last year, during which it reached USD39.13 million. Growth in exports resulted from the improved quality of ornamental plants this year. The head of the board of directors of the Union of Flowers and Plants Gholamhossein Ebrahimi said: "Since March 21, Iran has exported 1.2 billion stalks of garden and apartment cut flowers."
