Trade in Oman ports to see 15 percent growth in 2014


(MENAFN) Shipping in Oman's ports is expected to boost by 15 percent in 2014 as the Sultanate is renewing its ports operations, according to Arabian Business. Sohar and Salalah ports are expected to see strong growth in trade shipping. Tonnage at Salalah port is expected to boost by 12.3 percent over the following year reaching 9.22 million tons, with growth to average at 6.7 percent each year to 2018.
