Fixed phone subscribers up 14 percent in Oman


(MENAFN) Fixed phone subscribers in Oman increased 14.2 percent, from 304,545 at the end of last year to 347,822 at the end of October this year, Times of Oman reported. The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) released statistics that show that subscribers of billed fixed phone service in the Gulf state increased to 268,242 during the first 10 months of 2013. Pre-paid fixed phone service (Sahl) subscribers decreased to 25,624 versus 26,065 in 2012.
