Kuwait - 2 Buggy Riders Injured In Hit-&-Run Case

(MENAFN - Arab Times) Traffic officers recorded 32,111 violations, impounded 1,103 vehicles plus motorbikes, and detained 15 persons in traffic campaigns conducted across the country last week during which they executed 24 service orders and dealt with 1,806 cases. In Capital and Farwaniya governorates, traffic officers issued 5,017 and 3,480 citations, and also impounded 274 and 56 vehicles respectively. The officers issued 6,971 citations, impounded 140 vehicles and detained 3 people in Hawalli, while in Ahmadi they issued 3,654 citations and impounded 42 vehicles. In Mubarak Al-Kabeer, traffic officers recorded 140 violations and impounded 10 vehicles, and also filed 1,860 violations and seized 40 vehicles in Jahra. Meanwhile, the Operations Unit registered 2,124 violations and impounded 291 vehicles plus 20 motorbikes. Also, the Special Duty Unit recorded 7,220 violations, seized 230 vehicles, and detained 12 motorists, while the Task Force Team issued 1,350 citations and conducted technical tests for 295 vehicles.
