23 Killed in Fire on Train in Southern India
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) A fire broke out on an express train in southern India early Saturday and killed at least 23 passengers, Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.
The fire broke out AC coach of the Bangalore-Nanded Express in the Anantpur district of Andra Pradesh at 3:30 AM in the B1 coach packed with 64 passengers at Kothacheravu Railway Station.
