Kuwait- Expat Not Guilty Of Forgery

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Criminal Division of the Court of First Instance presided over by Judge Hesham Abdullah refrained from penalizing an expatriate who was accused of forgery, after it was proven that his brother had cheated him by stealing his passport and using it to travel to his home country without his knowledge. During the court session, the defense attorney Lawyer Ghazala Durweish insisted that her client is a victim in this issue. She explained that as soon as her client discovered that his brother stole his passport and left the country, he immediately reported the case to the concerned authorities, which proves that he is not an accomplice in the case
