Germany's Daimler signs agreement with Britain's Aston Martin


(MENAFN) Daimler AG, a German multinational automotive corporation, has signed an agreement with the British maker Aston Martin to provide it with sprots-cars, according to Oman Observer. Under the agreement, the German engines will provide V8 power units and electronic components in exchange for a 5 percent share of Aston Martin. Aston Martin sold 2,300 cars in the first three quarters of 2012, 19 percent fewer than during the same period in 2011.
