(MENAFN) Larsen & Toubro, the $ 14 billion technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing major, plans major development in its Oman facilities as a regional manufacturing hub to cover the growing demand in the GCC countries, according to Oman Observer.
L&T"s facilities at Sohar are the company"s largest manufacturing facilities outside India, and are considered as the reason behind the economic growth of countries in the region.
The facilities are able to produce as much as 20,000 tons of structures.
