Russia buys Ukrainian bonds for USD3b


(MENAFN) Russia has purchased Ukrainian government bonds worth USD3 billion, the first tranche in a deal between the two countries, Xinhua reported. The Russian Prime Minister said that the funds were transferred to the Central Bank of Ukraine. He added that the two countries should revive bilateral relations and trade, economic and investment cooperation. The Ukrainian Prime Minister said: "For us, this is a very serious, stabilizing factor."
