Laos plans to borrow USD263m


(MENAFN) Laos is planning to borrow USD263 million to fund projects in the current fiscal year, Xinhua reported. The country"s government plans to spend USD2.2 billion in the year, while revenue collection in is expected to come at USD1.9 billion and the sale of bonds to local and international investors will bring USD37.5 million. Laos will borrow USD225 million from international sources, and the rest is to be borrowed from local sources.
