UAE's Etihad Energy signs MoU with EZW


(MENAFN) UAE-based Etihad Energy Service Company (Etihad Esco) has signed an agreement with Economic Zones World (EZW) to reduce water and electricity usage across EZW"s commercial, residential and industrial facilities within Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), according to Khaleej Times. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, vice-chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE), managing director and chief executive officer of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), and Chairman of Etihad Esco; and Salma Ali Saif bin Hareb, CEO of Jafza and Economic Zones World, the parent company of Jafza have signed the agreement. Etihad Esco will start the first phase of Energy Consumption Reduction Program for EZW, followed by the second phase to implement and finance the energy efficiency upgrades to the buildings.
