Ahmed Abdulwahed Trading Co. wins Top 100 Saudi Brands Award


(MENAFNEditorial) JEDDAH – Ahmed Abdulwahed Trading Company has received an award for being one of the top 100 dominant trademarks selling smart electronic appliances in Saudi Arabia based on recent IPSOS survey 2013 launched by Alwatan Arabic daily. The initiative aims to honor Saudi trademarks that excelled in contributing to national economic development and prosperity and played great role in boosting sales of such products offered to consumers in the Kingdom. Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz Khoja conferred the honorary shield on Muhammad Ahmed Abdulwahed, Deputy Executive Director of the company, at a function held recently at Al-Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh. Speaking on the occasion, Abdulwahed said that the company won the prize for its excellent position in the Kingdom's electronic market through developing a clear strategy to reach consumers with a chain of 55 electronic showrooms spread all over 17 cities across the Kingdom. Fadi Tarabay Marketing Manager of Ahmed Abdulwahed Trading added that the company's main mission is to extend the best possible services ever to the customers and expand sale of international brand products in the Kingdom's domestic market. He also disclosed expansion plans of the company so that the highly advanced technological devices and equipment will reach the maximum number of consumers in all cities in the Kingdom. "We are planning to expand horizontally and vertically in order to reach most consumers Kingdom-wide. Moreover, we are always on the move to supply the Saudi market with latest products and technology in our line of business," he pointed out. These included electronic appliances, professional cameras and their accessories, smart phones, television screens, various communications devices and computers, he added. Tarabay further said the company is the authorized dealers of leading international brands such as Nikon professional cameras and lenses, SanDisk smart cards, Kenwood and Braun home appliances, Italian coffee maker Delonghi, Philips personal care equipment for men and women, and BaByliss – a pioneer in hair care appliances. Muhammad Ahmed Abdulwahed underlined that since the establishment of the Jeddah-based company in 1983, "it is also offering the latest products, technology and general office services, with an excellent after-sale service centers available across the Kingdom."
