Saudi spending to increase 4.3 percent in 2014


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's spending is expected to boost by 4.3 percent reaching USD227 billion in 2014, while the budget has risen 20 percent from the current year, according to the National AE. Revenue reached USD301 billion in 2013 after the rise in crude oil prices for the third consecutive year. The finance ministry said: "Budget appropriations will continue to focus on investment programs that enhance long-term strong and sustainable economic development and employment opportunities for Saudi nationals."
