US consumer sentiment at 82.5 in Dec.


(MENAFN) Consumer sentiment in the US boosted this month to hit a five-month-high, Xinhua reported. The sentiment index increased from 75.1 in November to 82.5 this month. The sentiment hit its highest in five months and is 9.6 points over the corresponding month last year. The consumer sentiment rose in December on the back of better current economic assessments and future economic prospects.
