(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) IMTEX 2013, Oman's foremost trade fair spotlighting industrial machinery and hardware solutions for tech-driven sectors of the domestic economy, attracted strong interest from industry professionals. A key pillar of the country's flourishing construction and oil sector, IMTEX Oman attracted over 107 local and international exhibitors including representative brands as participants at the signature trade event.
Over 1556 industry centric visitors checked out the product segments that included machinery, electrical products, machine parts, cables, control equipment, generator sets, pollution control systems, construction tools, cutting tools, cleaning machinery, drilling machinery, moulding machinery and cranes. In addition to a strong overseas participation, pavilions from United Kingdom and China featured international companies who showcased a new generation of competitive and cost-effective solutions for the Sultanate's rapidly diversifying industrial and economic base.
The three-day event that took place from December 2 – 4 was organised by Global Exhibitions & Conferences (GEC), in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and was also supported by German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK) and Oman's Industrial Innovation Centre.
