South Korean carmaker plans USD330m investment in Poland


(MENAFN) The Polish economy minister said that a South Korean carmaker is planning a USD330 million investment in his country, Xinhua reported. The economy minister said: "We have built a kind of an auto industry cluster in Poland over the last five years." "If I succeed in persuading one of the Polish metallurgical plans to launch production of car body sheet metal we will have everything in Poland that is used to build modern, brand-name passenger cars," he added. He said that the Poland is aiming to produce 800,000 cars per annum for the next five years.
