Malaysian International Reserves at RM440.8 Billion


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia amounted to RM440.8 billion (US$135.3 billion) as at Dec 13, 2013, the central bank said. The bank said in a statement that the reserves position was sufficient to finance 9.4 months of retained imports and was 3.7 times the short-term external debt, according to Malaysian News Agency (Bernama) reported.
