NBO honoured for its support to Oman Association for the Disabled


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) National Bank of Oman (NBO) was recently honoured for its support of the Oman Association for the Disabled at a special ceremony which was held under the patronage of H E Darwish bin Ismail al Balushi, Minister responsible for financial affairs.

The event, which recently took place at Annour Hall, MQ, was attended by senior government officials and VIP guests. Hassan Shaban, head of government banking, at NBO, who collected the certificate on behalf of the bank said: ''Our relationship with Oman Association for the Disabled has been well established over the years and we are delighted to be one of their main supporters.

At National Bank of Oman we are dedicated to supporting all members of our community, and this is one of the many charitable organisations we work with across the sultanate. We are honoured by this recognition and look forward to continuing to work with the association in the future.''

Over the last ten years, NBO has worked alongside the Oman Association for the Disabled to provide regular support for the charity through a variety of financial and non-financial contributions. The bank also supports the organisation's annual publication which targets the disabled community. NBO was founded in 1973 and is today one of the leading banks in Oman.
