UAE - Wetex to start from April 14


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Wetex has grown in stature as one of the elite specialised exhibitions in water, energy, environment and oil and gas sectors. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has announced that the 16th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (Wetex 2014), to be held under the directive of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and President of Dewa, from April 14 to 16 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Wetex has grown in stature as one of the elite specialised exhibitions in water, energy, environment and oil and gas sectors. Wetex 2014 will coincide with the "World Green Economy Summit", which will be held in Dubai in collaboration with Dubai Green Economy Partnership under the theme "Global Partnerships, Sustainable Future". Al Tayer said: "Organising this exhibition is in line with the UAE strategy on green sustainability and Shaikh Mohammed's initiative of 'Green Economy for Sustainable Development', which strives to establish the UAE as a world's leader in green economy and a centre for export and re-export of green products and technologies."
