(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Shaikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, attended the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Ajman Free Zone, one of the fastest-growing entrepreneurial and business clusters in the UAE.
The celebration was attended by Shaikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Representative of Ajman`s Ruler for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Chairman of the the Economic Development Department and the Ajman Free Zone Authority, or Afza, as well as representatives of other government departments and VIPs.
On the occasion, the Afza presented a short documentary which highlighted several path-breaking initiatives and excellence achieved by Afza over the past years underlining the free zone as the definitive and cost-competitive investment destination in the region that provides a robust environment for the growth of businesses.
"The Ajman Free Zone has seen exponential growth over the years contributing significantly to the Emirates and the UAE's GDP. These remarkable growth and positive performance underline our commitment to further establish Ajman as a strong business hub. The Free Zone's growth also fits in perfectly with the remarkable strides of development achieved by Ajman in trade, manufacturing, tourism and services," Shaikh Ahmed said.
