Russia s GDP Slows to 1.0%


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) growth slowed down to 1.0% on the year in November from 1.8% in October, Russian Deputy Economic Development Minister Andrei Klepach has said. The latest GDP figure allows the ministry to keep the annual GDP growth forecast unchanged at 1.4%, he said. The net capital outflow amounted to U.S. $4-5 billion in November, and the ministry will keep the 2013 forecast at $55-60 billion, Klepach said. Foreign trade surplus was at $13.7 billion in November, up 3.8% on the month, he also said. Exports fell 5.0% on the year and 2.2% on the month to $43.0 billion, while imports decreased 4.1% on the year and 0.5% on the month to $29.3 billion.
