(MENAFN - Arab Times) The elevator of a residential building in Hadiya area fell, causing injuries to a pregnant Kuwaiti woman and her husband who were inside the elevator. According to security sources, a Kuwaiti woman who was in her sixth month of pregnancy and her husband took the elevator of a residential building in Hadiya area to check a flat to rent.

After passing a few floors, the elevator suddenly stopped and the it fell. The building owner immediately notified the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior after which securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location.


They rescued the victims and referred the pregnant Kuwaiti woman to Adan Hospital where she was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit in serious condition. Securitymen took necessary legal action and they are carrying out investigations with the owner of the building.
