(MENAFN) India plans to strengthen trade ties with Iran and increase the number of shipping lines, according to Iran Daily. The plans will allow the two countries to handle more shipments from Iran to India and vice-versa. A senior commerce department official said: "The problem is Indian shipping lines are not getting insurance and reinsurance. And using global shipping lines is proving to be very expensive for exporters. So, we have asked the shipping ministry to increase the number of vessels."
