(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Salmiya police have arrested an Egyptian employee of a company for stealing smart phones, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said the arrest came following a complaint filed by the manager of the company. The complaint was filed after discovering the theft of phones from the company store. After reviewing the CCTV footage police launched intensive investigation and during interrogation the suspect broke down and admitted to committing the theft. It has been reported the suspect was terminated from the company a few days ago. In his defense the Egyptian said he stole the phones because the company had refused to pay him end of service indemnity
