Cambodia's economic growth to remain strong in 2013


(MENAFN) Cambodia's economy is expected to grow by 7 percent this year, despite the country's political disputes and recent floods, Xinhua reported. Chief of the Financial Industry Department at the Ministry of Economy and Finance said: "We're optimistic that the country still achieves over 7 percent economic growth this year, driven by strong garment exports, tourism and construction." The Minister of Economy and Finance said that the country's gross domestic product in 2013 will grow by 7.6 percent, or hit USD15.19 billion.
