Eurozone inflation at 0.9 percent in Nov.


(MENAFN) European Union (EU) statistics office Eurostat said that annual inflation in the eurozone increased to 0.9 percent last month, up from 0.7 percent in the month before it, Xinhua reported. The annual inflation in the EU increased by 0.1 percent to reach 1 percent in November. Greece registered the lowest annual rates at minus 2.9 percent, and Estonia had the highest with 2.1 percent. The upward impact on eurozone annual inflation came mainly from electricity, accommodation services and tobacco. Fuels for transport, telecommunications and heating oil had the biggest downward impacts.
